2093 hurdle tests for master electricians
(Eagle News)—Over 1000 passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination given in April, while over 2000 passed the tests for master electricians, the Professional Regulation Commission said.
The 1,600 who passed the electrical engineer licensure exams in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tacloban represent 62.79 percent of the 2,548 who took them.
The 2,093 who passed the master electricians exams, on the other hand, represent 56.14 percent of the 3,728 who took them.
Christian Yecyec Cahig from the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology and Clark Sigmund Rabano de Castro from the University of the Philippines Los Baños topped the exam for electrical engineers, with a rating of 93.5 percent each.
Kenneth Martija Bolima and Aldwin Plata Mercado, both from De La Salle University – Lipa, on the other hand, topped the master electricians’ exam with a rating of 94 percent each.
