Over 3,000 houses damaged by Nona – NDRRMC

More than three thousand houses were damaged when typhoon Nona battered some parts of the country during the past two days.

Data from the NDRRMC showed that 660 houses were totally damaged while 2,495 were partially damaged.

Most affected was Sorsogon wherein 593 houses were totally damaged and more than 1,300 houses were partially damaged.

A total of 8 roads and 1 bridge were also reported not passable in Regions IV-B, V and VIII.

While five cities and 100 municipalities in four provinces in said regions, plus region four-a, are also experiencing power interruptions due to Nona. (Eagle News Service)
