P1-million reward for any info on whereabouts of businessman “abducted” in Laguna announced

(Eagle News) — The family of the businessman who was “abducted” recently in Laguna announced on Friday, April 5, a P1-million reward for any information on his whereabouts.

The announcement was made in a press conference led by the family lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, two days after the reported abduction of Allan Fajardo from a four-star hotel in Nuvali.

Apart from Fajardo, his companion Ricky Atienza was “abducted.”

Witnesses said the two were forced by bonnet-wearing men to board a white van.

Fajardo used to lead the Anti-Crime Group of slain Tanauan, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili.

The group was known for its shame campaign against illegal drug peddlers.

President Duterte, however, named Halili as among those included in his narco-list.

Halili was shot dead during a flag-raising ceremony in July last year.
