CEBU, (Eagle News) — On April 10, 2015 at 11-4 pm, in the city of Santa Fe on the island of Bantayan Cebu, Pag-Ibig conducted simultaneous orientations of a housing rehabilitation/reconstruction loan program: one at the Municipal Office and the other at the Sports Complex.
This loan program orientation, which is aimed at victims of last year’s Typhoon Yolanda, was led by Pag-Ibig housing officers of Cebu. The orientation seminar was attended by the department heads of the municipal office, as well as other employees and teachers. This was one of the interventions of the local government under the leadership of their Mayo, Hon. Jose Titing Esgana in support of the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.The orientation tackled the requirements that need to be accomplished in order to avail the said program.
According to housing relation officer of Cebu, Marion Gerlie de los Reyes, this program is an enhanced housing loan program for the members of Pag-Ibig that were victims of Typhoon Yolanda, who until now, weren’t able to fix their houses after the devastating typhoon. The relation officer added that Pag-Ibig members may also apply in other cities in the island of Bantayan, Cebu.
Each qualified member that has passed the requirements may avail of 450,000 pesos or above without interest for the first 6-months and in the 7th up to 24th month, will only have 4% interest per annum/per year. (A report written by Agila Probinsya correspondent Arnulfo Compuesto)
