PAGASA: Isolated rains to prevail in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)—Isolated rains are expected in parts of the country today, Saturday, March 9, as the easterlies affect Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and due to the northeast monsoon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains

Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Moderate to strong winds will prevail ober northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The eastern section of Southern Luzon, of Visayas and of Mindanao will have moderate to Occasionally strong winds, where there will be moderate to occasionally rough  coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
