PAGASA: Isolated rains to prevail in some parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Isolated rains are expected in some parts of the country on Thursday, March 7, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected in Mindanao and Eastern Visayas because of the easterlies.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains are also expected in Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands as the northeast monsoon affects extreme northern Luzon.

In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy skies are expected.

Moderate to strong winds are expected in extreme northern Luzon, where moderate to rough coastal waters will be seen.

Light to moderate winds, on the other hand, will prevail in Visayas, the rest of Luzon and Mindanao, where slight to moderate coastal waters will be experienced.
