PAGASA: Isolated rainshowers to prevail in parts of PHL today, March 11

(Eagle News)–Isolated rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, March 11, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

In its advisory, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Mindanao as the trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) affects the island group.

It said isolated flooding or landslides were possible during severe thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, on the other hand, will prevail over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands, this time due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon annd Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Moderate winds and moderate coastal waters are expected in extreme northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters will prevail over the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
