PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory; heavy rains expected over Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, June 6, warned of heavy rainfall in several parts of the country as “‘Domeng” continues to move.

In an advisory issued before lunch,  PAGASA said the heavy rains with lightning and strong winds over Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Cavite within the next one to two hours are due to thunderstorms.

So far, these conditions are being experienced in Metro Manila, Laguna, BatangasRizal (Taytay, Cainta) and Quezon (Tiaong,Candelaria), PAGASA said.

These, PAGASA said,  may persist within 2 hours.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
