QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is currently monitoring a new storm that is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday, September 24.
At 10:00 am today, the tropical depression was forecast at 2,035 east of Mindanao. Although there is still no effect in the country, the weather disturbance brings with it scattered rainshowers.
If the tropical depression enters the country on Saturday or Sunday morning, it will be named “Helen.”
