Rest of PHL affected by ITCZ
(Eagle News) — The southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon and Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting the rest of the country as well.
As a result, the weather bureau said Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
According to PAGASA, the whole country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
