PAGASA said that from Tuesday to Wednesday (March 17-18), Tropical Storm Bavi is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), but still generally fair weather condition will prevail throughout the whole archipelago apart from isolated rains in Luzon and isolated rains or localized thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao.
The storm is to be locally codenamed Betty upon entering the PAR. PAGASA estimates the storm, based on its direction and speed, will enter the PAR Tuesday morning.
On Thursday to Friday (March 19-20), Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorm due to the approaching tropical disturbance. sea condition over eastern section of Luzon will be moderate to rough while the rest of the country will be slight to moderate.
