PAGASA warns against strongest typhoon in the world

QUEZON City, Philippines, August 4 (Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services and Administration (PAGASA) warned against the approach of the strongest typhoon in the world this year.

Said typhoon bears the international designation of Soudelor. Although the said typhoon will not make a landfall, it will strengthen the southwest monsoon while inside the Philippine area of responsibility.

International Typhoon “Soudelor” will be named Hanna, once it enters the Philippine Area of responsibility (PAR).
