Bohol town mayor shot dead
(Eagle News)–The mayor of a town in Bohol was shot dead on Sunday, May 27. Buenavista mayor Ronald Tirol was shot in a cockpit in Tagbilaran reportedly by three unidentified men around 3 p.m. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. Police have yet to establish the motive. Tirol was the son of the late Buenavista Mayor Leandro Tirol and former Buenavista Mayor Elsa Tirol.
