(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Saturday, June 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:31 a.m. The epicenter was 51 kilometers northeast of Burgos. The depth of focus was nine kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
