Partisipasyon ni Pnoy sa electoral process, idinipensa

Aminado naman ang Malakanyang na hindi mapaghihiwalay ang partisipasyon ng Pangulo sa democratic at electoral process sa pagtupad ng kaniyang tungkulin bilang pangulo ng bansa. Ayon kay Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, realidad na aniya saan mang bansa na ang isang head of state ay nagiging bahagi ng pulitika. Roxas-Robredo tandem, nangampanya sa Capiz

Sa lalawigan ng Capiz at Iloilo nagsimula ang kampanya ng mga pambato ng Liberal Party na sina Mar Roxas at Leni Robredo. Sa kaniyang talumpati, sinabi ni Roxas na hindi siya basta basta magpapatalo sa aniya’y mga abusado, manloloko at higit sa lahat ay mga magnanakaw. Edukasyon at hanapbuhay naman ang inilatag na plataporma ng katandem ni Roxas na si Robredo.

Bodies of Filipinos killed in Iraq fire identified

THE Philippine embassy in Iraq said the 13 Filipino who were killed in the capitol hotel fire in Erbil, Iraq have been identified and the government is now in the process of informing their loved ones.
