Youth group stranded in Palawan

Several members of the youth group Kalayaan Atin Ito are stranded in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan due to lack of funds to pay for passage back to Manila. Said group is asking for donations to help the 18 members who were stranded in Palawan. WHO declares Liberia Ebola free

The World Health Organization declares an end to the two-year Ebola virus outbreak in the African nation of Liberia and is ready to make an announcement that said nation is Ebola-free. Philippines files formal protest against China’s test flight

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Philippines filed a formal protest against the latest action of China in the West Philippine Sea where said nation conducted test flights. Names of Poe and Duterte, not sure to be included in official ballot – COMELEC

Chairman of the Commission on Elections Andres Bautista said that it is still not yet clear if the names of Senator Grace Poe and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte will be included in the official ballot for the 2016 elections.
