A big time price rollback for gasoline and diesel is expected to be implemented by petroleum companies this week. The price rollbacks to be implemented in petroleum products were P1.00 per liter of gasoline and P0.60 centavos for every liter of diesel. Some provinces in the country is expected to experience the severe drought conditions in years, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its advisory. PAGASA said the latest rainfall caused by typhoon “Lando” is not enough in the depleting water supply that has been recorded in some areas of the country. The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said that almost 6 million voter identification cards remain unclaimed all over the country.
