PNP releases funds for mid-year bonus

Former Catholic official criticizes ads of potential candidates

MANILA, Philippines, May 25 (Eagle News) — A former Catholic official gave strongly-worded criticisms against politicians who were conducting early advertisement campaigns prior to the upcoming elections. The Commission on Election (COMELEC), on the other hand, said that said politicians can only be declared to have engaged in prohibited premature advertising only after they have filed certificate of candidacy.
