Countries agree to be malaria free

GENEVA, Switzerland (Eagle News) – According to the World Health Organization, member countries agreed to eradicate malaria by 2030. Said agreement came about in an assembly held at Geneva, Switzerland. Said agreement targets to lower malaria cases by 40% in 2020 and by 90% in 2030. MMDA arrests tricycles in EDSA

EDSA, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Traffic Enforcement Group conducted an operation against tricycles travelling in EDSA, with 10 tricycle drivers arrested while going to the Balintawak market. Angat Dam nears critical level

ANGAT Dam, Bulacan (Eagle News) – At 180.95 meters, the water level in Angat Dam neared the critical level for irrigation which is 180 meters. On the other hand, the critical level for household use is 160 meters. Other major dams are also experiencing low water levels. MAY 22 (Reuters) — A suicide bomber blew himself up at a Shi’ite mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia during Friday prayers, residents said, killing and wounding several people.
