BBL provisions removed to avoid “sub-state impression”
QUEZON City, Philippines, May 25 (Eagle News) — House Ad-Hoc Committee Chairman Rufus Rodriguez said that several provisions of the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) were removed because they gave the impression that a “sub-state” is being established. Included in the revised provisions is the preamble. Also the name of the law has been change from BBL to Basic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. Former Catholic official criticizes ads of potential candidates
