Kentex violated Labor Code, according to DOLE

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) – According to the initial investigation of the Department of Labor and Employment, Kentex Manufacturing made use of an unregistered sub-contractor to provide workers for its warehouse which burned down in the Valenzuela City. This act is a violation of the Labor Code, according to DOLE Secretary Rosalina Baldos, making Kentex liable for the fate suffered by its workers. Sen. Miriam proposes bill criminalizing building code violations
