Illegal lumber confiscated in Cagayan

April 24 (Eagle News) – Authorities confiscated more than 1,800 boardfeet of illegal lumber in Apayao, Cagayan through the combined efforts and campaign of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), the Apayao Public Safety Company (APPSC) and the provincial police. The confiscated  lumber is estimated to be worth some P25,000. Police are still trying to determine the owner of the illegal lumber. Philippine family of death row convict hopeful of last minute pardon in Indonesia
