Solar panels for public schools

Senator Sonny Angara proposed the installation of solar panels for every public schools that still lacks electrical supply. Said proposed law will oblige the Department of Education and Department of Energy to install solar panels that will provide much needed electricity for the use of equipment like computers that will help students in their lessons.

Qualified youth apply for government jobs

Taguig City – The local government implemented the Special Program for the Employment of Students which aims to provide jobs for qualified students that will help them gain job experience as well as earn some savings.The number of qualified students who applied for the said program totals 200.

Philippine town in world record attempt for largest serving of fertilized duck eggs

A suburb in the Philippine capital of Manila held a feast of fertilized duck eggs on Friday (April 10) in the hope of setting a world record for the largest serving of the local delicacy.
