Binay shrugs off low ratings

Vice President Jejomar Binay shrugged off the huge decline in his trust and approval ratings saying that this does not affect his resolve to be of service to the Filipino people.

Vegetable price hike, not allowed by DA

The Department of Agriculture warned vegetable vendors who will sell vegetables at a higher price this holiday season. Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said that there is an ample supply of vegetables, so there is no reason to raise the price of vegetables in the market.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the death toll due to typhoon “Ruby” now stands at nineteen, with more than 900 injured and 3 million displaced by the said typhoon.
