President Aquino brings home European investments
President Aquino will be returning to the Philippines with 2.3 billion dollars worth of investment from Europe after several business meetings. He added that a total of 55, 000 new employment will be created by said investments. His delegation was able to meet with 19 companies, all of whom praised the economic performance of the Philippines.
UN Peacekeepers
The 84 Filipino peacekeepers that were part of the 7th Philippine contingent in the Golan Heights have returned to the country. AFP Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Pio Catapang Jr., met the peacekeepers as they arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. AFP is planning to give medals and promotions to the peacekeepers, particularly those who were involved at the fighting in Position 68 in the Golan Heights.

Tent classrooms
More than 100 tent classrooms are expected to arrive in Albay next week. Hotel in Albay used as evacuation center
A hotel in Albay was used as an evacuation center. According to Mayor Gemma Ongjuco of Guinobatan, the hotel owner volunteered to have his property used as an evacuation center. The hotel gave priority to senior citizens, pregnant women and children. According to the hotel owner, he will allow the evacuees to use his hotel as long as they are not allowed to return to the their homes.
AFP brings more relief assistance
Boxes of canned goods, water, rice and generator sets were brought by the Armed Forces of the Philippines when it visited Albay.
