Boeing, SpaceX win contracts to build ‘space taxis’ for NASA

New UN data show drop in child mortality rate

The United Nations recently released new data that showed that there had been fewer deaths of children under the age of five since 1990, but this still fell short of meeting global child death reduction targets for 2015. Citing security threat, Obama expands U.S. role fighting Ebola

24-hour curfew in Albay

The local government of Albay will implement a 24-hour curfew in the areas inside the 6-8km permanent danger zone around Mayon Volcano. The curfew was implemented after the forced or compulsory evacuation of residents living near the said volcano.
