Two batches of overseas Filipino workers – numbering 768 – have returned to the Philippines from Libya. Other than the immediate repatriation, the DFA is also enforcing a deployment ban due to the crisis in Libya.

Coca-Cola pays $2.2 billion for major stake in Monster Beverage

Two flights cancelled due to ‘sunset limitation’

MANILA, Aug 16 (PNA) — Flights between Manila and Tagbilaran, Bohol were cancelled on Saturday due to “sunset limitation,” the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said. Sunset limitation occurs when a plane cannot take off or land after dark because the airport has no night landing facilities. Via Twitter, DOTC said that flights cancelled included 2P-2777 (Manila-Tagbilaran) and (2P-2778 Tagbilaran-Manila). Both flights belonged to PAL Express. (PNA)
