(Eagle News)–The Palace has declared half-day work in government offices on Wednesday, March 27.
The circular signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said the suspension of government work from noon on that day would enable government employees to travel to and from nearby regions in the country for the holidays.
“However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services,” the circular said.
As for private companies, the circular said the suspension of work was left to their “sound discretion.”
