(Eagle News) — The Palace on Monday expressed elation at the drop in firecrackers-related injuries.
“We’re elated and we hope next year it will be no casualties and injuries at all,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Monday.
Roque was referring to the 191 firecrackers-related injuries recorded from December 21 to January 1, which represents a 68 percent drop from the figure recorded in the same period last year.
The DOH said only one stray bullet case was recorded.
