(Eagle News)–The national flag will be flown at half-mast on Sunday, Feb. 24, in honor of the late National Artist for Architecture Bobby Mañosa.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the Office of the President gave the order for the flag to be displayed as such on Mañosa’s interment “as a sign of mourning..”

Panelo said this will be done “in all places where (the flag) is displayed in the country and in Philippine embassies abroad..”

Mañosa, whose works included the Coconut Palace,  passed away on Wednesday, February 20, almost four months after he was conferred the Order of National Artist in the field of Architecture by President Rodrigo Duterte.
