(Eagle News)– Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella on Thursday noted that President Rodrigo Duterte is not affected by the assassination plot against him.
“The President is pretty much untouched by these threats. Concerned but not worried,” Abella said.
“He eats threats for breakfast. Meaning to say, it is not something new to him. He said it again and again that he puts his honor, his life, his presidency on the line. It is a very heroic stand,” he added.
Earlier, police claimed to have discovered the supposed Duterte assassination plot after busting an alleged gun smuggling syndicate who would sell gun parts to the group planning to shoot the President.
Despite of the threats, Abella noted that it will be business as usual for the President.
