(Eagle News) — The Palace on Thursday, Aug. 16, rebuked Senator Antonio Trillanes IV after he dared President Rodrigo Duterte and his family to undergo a drug test.
“Ang Presidente po ay halal ng bayan. Kung gusto pong magpa-drug test ni Presidente gagawin niya pero hindi po para utusan siya ng kahit sino,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
Trillanes made the comment after he tested negative for illegal drug use, based on results of a surprise drug test conducted in the Senate last month.
A picture of the results posted on his Twitter account showed he was negative for cocaine, ecstacy, metamphetamine, morphine, and tetrahydrocannabinol.
