(Eagle News) — The Palace on Wednesday, Aug. 29, condemned the blast in Sultan Kudarat that killed two and injured over 30 people on Tuesday night.
“We vow to bring the perpetrators of this brazen attack to (sic) justice,” he said.
The military so far dismissed reports the Islamic State was behind the bombing, airing their suspicions instead that the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters were behind the attack.
“We will apply the full force of the law,” Roque said.
Two people and over 30 were injured after a bomb went off in Insulan, during a town festival.
Initial reports said two other bombs in the area had been defused.
The attack took place after President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Bangsamoro Organic Law, which will create a Bangsamoro region with greater autonomy.
