(Eagle News) — The Palace on Thursday, April 12, welcomed the recent results of a Social Weather Stations survey that said that 70 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with President Rodrigo Duterte’s performance.
He said based on the results, “public confidence” has “remained “high notwithstanding matters and concerns the government is handling.”
“This would further inspire the President, along with the members of his Cabinet, to work double time in bringing the fruits of sustained and inclusive growth to the poorest and marginalized sectors while ensuring our communities remain safe and secure from drugs, crime and terrorism,” he said.
“We are thus grateful for our people’s vote of confidence,” he added.
The SWS survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents from March 23 to 27.
According to the results, only 14 percent were dissatisfied with President Duterte’s performance, while 17 percent were undecided.
