PCG: Over 4,800 passengers stranded in ports due to “Ompong”

(Eagle News) — Over 4,800 passengers have been stranded in different ports across the country due to Typhoon “Ompong.”

Below is a list of stranded passengers posted by the Philippine Coast Guard in its Facebook account as of 8 a.m.:

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Ompong” will make landfall over northern Luzon on Saturday, but its effects will be felt as early as Friday, Sept. 14.
