According to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, its should be the Philippine Coast Guard who should give the “go” signal or clearance for those who want to go on a “freedom voyage” to Spratlys Islands.
The AFP added that the PCG should consider carefully the giving of the clearance since light vessels would find it difficult navigating the waters around said island.
