DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The Philippine Consulate-General in Dubai warned against the syndicate that is engaged in fake passport extensions after it received two cases of passport tampering. The consulate added that passport extensions are no longer available since January 1 except for family purposes or medical emergencies. The consulate asked the Dubai police’s aid to put a stop on the passport extension scheme.
