MANILA, Philippines, July 24 (Eagle News) — According to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, the Palace rejected China’s renewed proposal to withdraw the case from the international tribunal and engage in bilateral talks regarding the maritime dispute in West Philippine Sea.
Coloma added that the Philippines stands firm in continuing the process of arbitration to resolve the issue peacefully.
China continues to refuse participation in the arbitration proceedings.
