(Eagle News)–A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck La Union on Thursday, May 28, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake, which struck at 1:17 p.m., had its epicenter 17 kilometers northwest of San Fernando.
Depth of focus was 57 kilometers.

No damage to property was expected but aftershocks were.
