QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III admitted that the Php 1,000 increase in the wages of the “kasambahay” or household help in Metro Manila is not enough.
This even after the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board approved the Php 1,000 increase in the wages of “kasambahay” last November 30.
According to RTWPB-NCR, the increase will be effective 15 days after the order is published in newspapers of general circulation.
