PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group ordered to step up drive vs selling of fake entry permits, vaccination cards online

(Eagle News) — Philippine National Police Chief Guillermo Eleazar has ordered the Anti-Cybercrime Group to step up its campaign against illegal online activities that are connected to the government’s COVID-19 response.

The PNP issued the statement after the Bureau of Immigration warned the public against unscrupulous individuals who sell fake entry permits online.

According to Eleazar, the ACG was tasked to look into the selling of fake RT-PCR test results and vaccination cards as well.

The PNP Chief urged the public to report to authorities any such scams and to not patronize the illegal activities.
