PNP, club owners anti-drug measures okayed

(Eagle News)– An agreement was reached between Bonifacio Global City (BGC) bar owners and officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) led by Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa concerning the admission of plain clothes officers into the establishments.

It was cleared that the deployed officers will present their identification cards to the owner or manager and may only use comfort rooms of the bars due to reports of rampant drug transactions inside comfort rooms.

Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano was present in the meeting.

PNP officials suggested that CCTV cameras must be installed to identify clients who enter the establishment.
