QUEZON City, Philippines – According to the Philippine National Police, there is still no formal letter from Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre in connection with the latter’s request to extend by three months the appointment of PNP Special Action Forces in the New Bilibid Prison.
The PNP said that it is carefully considering Secretary Aguirre’s request and that the PNP is willing to help the Department of Justice in suppressing the illegal drug trade.
