PNP reports 150 more COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — Over 150 more COVID-19 cases have been reported among police personnel.

According to the Philippine National Police, the additional cases pushed the PNP COVID-19 total to 35703.

Of these, 2238 were active.

Recoveries also rose to 33357, including the 93 additional ones.

The death toll remains at 108, with no additional deaths reported.

President Rodrigo Duterte has said uniformed personnel, including policemen, should be among the priorities in the country’s COVID-19 vaccination program.

According to PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar, over 40 percent of the national police force are fully vaccinated so far.
