QUEZON City, Philippines – The Philippine National Police will assign elite forces in places declared by the Commission on Elections as election areas of concern.
The PNP added that said Regional Special Operations Task Groups will serve as augmentation for local police forces in Pangasinan, Masbate, Negros Oriental, Western Samar, Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur. Said measure was already used last 2013 elections.
