(Eagle News) — A high value target who is also in the drug watch list of the Philippine National Police-Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office was arrested in a joint drug buy bust operation in Dumaguete City on Thursday, August 16.
The arrested suspect was identified as Janmark Abadilla alias “Biboy” of Barangay Bajumpandan, Dumaguete City.
Recovered from the anti-drug operations were two kilograms of methamphetamine also known as shabu worth of P23 million, a weighing scale, two mobile phone units and other drug paraphernalia.
Aside from these, a .38 caliber revolver was also confiscated, along with PHP 113,290 of cash believed to be proceeds of the drug sale.
The suspect will be facing charges for violating the Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Charges of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law. (Mar Gabriel)
