KIDAPAWAN City, Cotabato – Violence resulted from the dispersal undergone by the police against the farmers barricading the Cotabato – Davao Highway in protest of the three kilo rice subsidy every quarter that was offered to them. The violent dispersal resulted in two deaths and thirty injured. The farmers are asking for 15, 000 sacks of rice that will tide them over during the El Niño.
