Possible LPA monitored by PAGASA

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric  Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has monitored two weather systems outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA said Typhoons Soulik and Cimaron, however, will have no direct effect in the  country and is not expected to enter PAR.

The weather bureau said it was monitoring a “circulation” system that could develop into a low pressure area, though.

As it is, PAGASA said it was the southwest monsoon that was bringing rains in the western part of the country.

It said scattered rains with thunderstorms are forecast in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Babuyan Group of Islands, Batanes and Zambales.

The rest of Luzon including Metro Manila, it said, will experience cloudy skies and sometimes rains but brought about by isolated thunderstorms.
