Voters are left with no choice but to wait for technicians to fix broken vote counting machines (VCMs) in various precincts in the District of Metro Manila South including those in Parañaque City, Taguig City, Muntinlupa City, and Las Piñas City.
Frequent reports include VCMs not accepting ballot boxes and errors in reading ballot boxes leaving voters angry and confused in the delay of queue.
Some of the technicians are expected to arrive between an hour or two to fix the broken VCMs. Comelec officials in some precincts offered an alternative solution for voters to leave their ballot boxes and wait until the VCMs are fixed but some voters opted to go back home instead.
