President Aquino arrives at Boston for the start of his 5-day working visit in the United States.
He was greeted by the Philippine Ambassador to the US, Jose Cuisia Jr., and Phiippine Permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Libiran Cabactulan at his arrival in the Logan International Airport from Berlin, Germany.
This the first time President Aquino has returned to Boston after 1983 when he lived there with the rest of Senator Ninoy Aquino’s family when they fled to the United States.
He also plans to visit their former residence in Boston.
The Chief Executive will meet close family friends, give a speech in the Boston College and meet the Filipino-American community.
